Gabo's work explores the boundaries between perception, identity, and illusion, interrogating from the outset the figure of Narcissus and the ways in which we construct and deconstruct the sense of self. From his cube to investigations into the devices of vision, his approach combines formal rigour and philosophical friction.
The encounter with superoby, a brand built on artisanal quality, upcycling ethics, and essential aesthetics, stems from a deep affinity: both believe that the objects we wear are never neutral, but carriers of meaning, tools through which we communicate – consciously or not – who we are or who we believe ourselves to be. A natural convergence.
REFLECTIONS is the first chapter of an artistic project that uses the language of fashion to dismantle our relationship with the ego. Through texts readable only when facing a reflective surface, the garment becomes an optical and cognitive device.
REFLECTIONS offers no answers: it opens a breach. An invitation to confront contemporary narcissism byliterally placing it before the mirror, generating a brief short-circuit between projected identity and perceived identity.

Le travail de Gabo explore les frontières entre perception, identité et illusion, interrogeant dès l'origine la figure de Narcisse et la manière dont nous construisons et déconstruisons le sens de soi. De son cube aux enquêtes sur les dispositifs de la vision, son approche allie rigueur formelle et friction philosophique.
La rencontre avec superoby, marque qui a fait de la qualité artisanale, de l'éthique upcycling et de l'esthétique essentielle son langage, naît d'une affinité profonde : tous deux croient que les objets que nous portons ne sont jamais neutres, mais porteurs de sens, outils à travers lesquels nous communiquons – consciemment ou non – qui nous sommes ou qui nous croyons être. Une convergence naturelle.
REFLECTIONS est le premier chapitre d'un projet artistique qui utilise le langage de la mode pour démanteler notre rapport à l'ego. À travers des textes lisibles uniquement face à une surface réfléchissante, le vêtement devient dispositif optique et cognitif.
REFLECTIONS n'offre pas de réponses : il ouvre une brèche. Une invitation à confronter le narcissisme contemporain en le plaçant littéralement devant le miroir, générant un bref court-circuit entre identité projetée et identité perçue.
