At ⚡︎superoby⚡︎︎︎'s atelier, clothings are used as a canvas for painting. The random brush strokes are meant to cover existing logos or slogans. The pictorial result, pleasant and soft to the touch, is material and contrasts between opaque and glossy, creating unique and wearable abstract paintings.

All the clothes we collect or purchase in bulk are washed and ironed. Based on their shape, we determine the size, and then they are painted and embroidered.

Pre-owned items are carefully selected; we want them to be in perfect condition, without signs of wear. We particularly like those with one or more logos or texts to cover. On these pieces, the brush works intensely, creating extraordinary layers of color.

We often let the logo or text show faintly through the paint—a subtle signature that makes each piece a unique work of art.

The colors we use are water-based, odorless, and do not require a fixative. Their composition is free of animal-derived materials and aligns with vegan principles.

Beyond the palette, our team scours between haberdashery shops, antiquarians, and flea market to recover and recycle all types of embroidery, pearls, stones, metals, laces, accessories, shoe straps, pins, earrings, and garment pieces. These elements are mixed with a casual punk touch to create unique and exceptional pieces.

⚡︎superoby⚡︎︎ garments are machine washable; we recommend washing at 20°C. Dry them on a hanger, they are not delicate, and require minimal maintenance.
